Jenkins sign-in screen for the AWS Node CI/CD pipeline

AWS Node.js CI/CD Pipeline

  • AWS EC2
  • Jenkins
  • Node.js
  • GitHub Webhooks

This pipeline runs Jenkins on an AWS EC2 instance to automatically build and deploy a Node.js Express application. A GitHub webhook fires the job on every push to the main branch — Jenkins pulls the latest commit, installs dependencies, runs the build, and redeploys the app to the EC2 host, so shipping a change never needs a manual login to the server. The source repository is kept private, so this is a written walkthrough rather than a public link.

CI/CD pipeline dashboard for the Terraform-provisioned AWS infrastructure

CI/CD Pipeline with Terraform

  • Terraform
  • Ansible
  • Jenkins
  • Docker Hub
  • AWS EC2

An infrastructure-as-code pipeline that provisions its own home before it ever builds anything: Terraform stands up the AWS EC2 instance, Ansible configures the server, and Jenkins runs the build, push, and deploy stages — pushing the built image to Docker Hub before deploying it out to the dev instance. Jenkins checks out code through its own dedicated GitHub deploy key rather than a developer's personal credentials, keeping automated deployments cleanly separated from manual work on the same box. As with the pipeline above, the source repository is private, so this is a written walkthrough rather than a public link.
